Volkswagen Makes It Better

My inspiration for this campaign came from "Harold and The Purple Crayon!" The final spot below entitled DNA conveys this concept a little more. Copywriter Tim Brunelle and I created a series of animated spots that highlighted precision German engineering. Tight gaps! We produced the final spots through Psyop, NYC, and Music for Picture, NYC created the music.

“But, luckily, he kept his wits and his purple crayon.”
― Crockett Johnson

Harold and the Purple Crayon is a children's book both written and illustrated by Crockett Johnson in 1955. Purple is my favorite color. The color of my attic bedroom growing up. The color of my prom dress. Purple is the color of adventure.
