Symbol Design

As a graduate student at The Savannah College Of Art And Design, I was asked to explore Typography through the most primitive forms of communication: cuneiform and writing. My goal was to research and develop a set of three to five pictographs or ideograms based on a chosen theme. These symbols were then implemented into various products.

The below symbols were created with curry powder. I love curry!

I also experimented with stone, clay, and wood burning. Oh the discoveries (and mistakes) that I made!
